The Doggoose Returns!

This is Amanda Nedham's Piece, that I helped create, as displayed at XSPACE last summer in all its completed glory!

Highlander Carving

The summer of 2006 my dad and I hacked away at this old hard maple for a few months in Fergus Ontario. Fergus is a huge Scottish town, so my dad proposed this project to both the city and bar it sits in front of. It was well received.

The Goose n' Grid Sign

A sign I carved for a bar in Fergus Ontario in 2009. Long story short; the bar never got it because they had no money, but it still nice to have around I guess. It's about 3' or 3'6" wide by 2' tall made of soft maple and bass, and is only about 3" thick on the highest point.

Cast Broze Dragon

This is a 4' ft. tall Cast Bronze dragon I completed in 2005. Working out of the Foundry at OCAD I was able to fully fabricate the piece every step of the way. It was cast in 6 pieces and, other than the head which is removable, was welded, finished and patinated by yours truly. The base seen here is stick welded rebar, but the piece is meant to hang flat on a wall.
